We have done extensive research and developed on the MED9 control unit for the VAG EA113 engine over the past 14 years. Both on the K03 & K04 turbo variants found across the entire VAG range. Our inhouse development has allowed us to produce some of the most advanced market leading calibration across all software variants commonly found on this platform out producing the competition.

K04 Turbo Calibrations 230/235/240/265/272BHP

Stage 1 calibration:

320-330BHP & 460-500NM

 

Mandatory:

  • Completely stock vehicle (Zero modifications required)

 

Optional Additions:

  • Induction kit
  • Catback Exhaust

Stage 2 calibration:

340-350BHP & 500-530NM

 

Mandatory:

  • Downpipe decat or sports cat exhaust (T&C's Section 3)
  • Induction kit
  • Uprated intercooler
  • R8 coilpacks

Stage 2+ calibration:

360-380BHP & 550-570NM

 

Mandatory:

  • Downpipe decat or sports cat exhaust (T&C's Section 3)
  • Induction kit
  • Uprated intercooler
  • Uprated HPFP (Viz recommended)
  • RS4 return valve
  • R8 coilpacks
  • DSG gearbox map (Auto models only)
  • Uprated clutch (Manual models only)

Here we show a great example of stage 1 & 2 taking place on a very healthy example of the EA113 TFSI K04 variant engine. This was an excellent example of an Audi S3 8P brought to us from stock and covering over various hardware and tuning stages. The graph defines what we have achieved within stages 1 & 2.

Please note due to the age of these vehicles we require them all to be fitted with the following prior to tuning:

  • Genuine stock diverter valve (Do not use aftermarket “uprated” diverter valves they all boost leak)
  • Genuine R8 coilpacks
  • Genuine stock fresh set of sparkplugs
