Here at West Yorkshire Tuning we house the latest technology in the tuning industry, this in term allows us to not only provide you with the quality stress free service of having your vehicle tuned. But also allows us to have the ease of advanced inhouse research and development exploring the boundaries of modern vehicles and their control units.

We have over 13 years experience in the tuning industry using our inhouse Dimsport 4WD dynamometer to provide our customers with some of the most advanced structures in ECU calibrations seen in the UK market. Unrivalled proven gains in power output, drivability and reliability. We have proven ourselves as being one of the most comprehensive tuners in the UK compared to competitors time and time again.

All vehicles are subject to a pre health check which is carried out on the dynamometer, this includes multiple pre tuning runs fully data logged to assess the condition of the vehicle presented to us, and help diagnose any obvious potential issues prior to tuning so the customer can be advised. We also carry out an extensive diagnostics sessions before, during and after the pre tuning runs. The safety of your engine and professionalism in which we advise customers in regards to their vehicles is our top priority to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. Once we are happy with the pre tuning logs we then advise the customer of the process to begin tuning to the potential of the vehicle.

During the tuning process we custom calibrate each vehicle individually to the live data logs. We can analyse and modified any given aspect of the engine and gearbox control module within possible reason. This in terms means we can calibrate to suit your best needs and driving style, as well as accommodating for hardware modifications. We build a simple base map for your vehicle and start to introduce the change in parameters to see how your vehicle reacts to the changes. Then adding further tuning, running multiple logged revisions, adjusting these parameters until we are happy with the output. During the whole process the vehicle is fully logged under every revision ensuring we achieve correct AFR (Air Fuel Ratio), low EGT’s (Exhaust Gas Temperatures), zero timing pull or knock detection.

Once the vehicle is completed we run a post tuning diagnostics session to once again before completion to ensure the vehicle is fault free for the customer. We then provide the customer with a full diagnostics report of the vehicle, a full detailed before and after logged dynamometer printout showing a clear difference of the power output. As well as a technician to in detail explain the printout of what we have achieved.
