FAQ's
Q: Do you have a dyno?
A: Yes we have an in-house 4WD dimpsort inertia dyno as can be seen in all of our pictures.
Q: Do you have a waiting room?
A: Yes we have a comfortable waiting room fully heated with sofa and chair seating, toilet facilities, games machine and television.
Q: Where are you located?
A: Address can be found on the website under the contact page also a simple Google search shows it.

Q: Can i take pictures of my vehicle on the dyno?
A: Yes of course you can however we also take pictures and videos which we can send you via social media which are of much better quality than you will achieve from outside the unit.
Q: Why can you not dyno the Xdrive?
A: We can not dyno the Xdrive systems due to the simple fact that you need a linked dyno to test them, and our's is not linked it is inertia. The only other way would be to disconnect dyno them would be to disconnect the Xdrive system which can lead to differential failure hence why we do not do this.
Q: What warranty to you offer?
A: Nothing, no tuning firm offers any genuine form of warranty, if you are told they do it is usually a lie to take your money and then when you want some warranty there will be a loophole to not pay or they will simply disappear. We don't lie to customers to get our work so we can confidently tell you that you will not receive any. You can read further into this on our terms and conditions page section 1
Q: will you do a health check on my vehicle?
A: No, there is no such. Only poor beggy firms will promise you they are doing this to convince you to give them your money over the thousands of competitors they have as they struggle for work. How do you imagine anyone can tell you the condition of your unknown engine without physically removing the engine, stripping it and fully rebuilding your entire engine. You are believing lies sold by poor firms.
Q: Why have I not received a reply to my quote?
A: This is because you have entered your email address incorrectly so we was unable to contact you, because it has gone in your spam folder, or because you have failed to read us asking not to enquire about vehicles we do not tune as stated on this page and the home page. These are the only 3 reasons you would not receive a quote, every genuine enquiry is answered.
Q: I have been trying to call but the number does not ring?
A: This is because you are calling whilst we are closed, our opening times are stated only our
contact page as well as on Google. The phones are on Monday - Friday 10am - 4pm. If you ring during these times and the number is off, it is due to us being closed for holidays. If you ring on a withheld number your call will be auto declined, you have no reason to hide your number to enquire for a remap.
Q: I am outside your unit why are you not open?
A: This is because you are not booked in, we work on appointment only, we are not a conventional shop open to the public. We work strictly on appointment only due to our high work load and development, which sometimes requires the workshop to be closed to the public.
Q: Can i come inside the workshop/ sit inside the vehicle to watch you while you work?
A: No you may not come inside the workshop or sit inside the vehicle whilst we are working on it. For 2 reasons, number 1 we are working, we do not want distractions from the customer whilst doing so slowing us down and potentially making mistakes. Second reason is the workshop is a dangerous environment and not suitable for customers to be wondering about.
Q: How can I pay?
A: We accept cash or card payments on day. If you are wanting to send the remaining amount via BACS transfer this must be done 2 hours prior to your arrival to ensure the funds have cleared as we have had too many customers lie and steal from us.
Q: How long does the process take?
A: Please allow up to 1 hour 30 mins for an average remap, some may take longer to complete depending on complexity of the vehicle, reading/writing times & revisions.
Q: HOW DO I BOOK IN?
A: You can book in via this website by either filling the form on the contact page or by using the gains calculator, both these options send us an email. Alternatively you can contact us via Facebook or Instagram for instant messenger bookings, or you can call us during business hours.
Q: what dates do you have available?
A: We can not sit and type hundreds of available dates for you to just say "I can't make that", You tell us what date you want to book in for and we will check the availability for that date for you.
Q: Do you provide finance?
A: Yes we provide 4 monthly payments interest free via payment assist, please ask us prior to booking for this option as all finance must be setup prior to booking to ensure your are not declined.
Q: Do you fit parts?
A: No we are solely a tuning company we do not fit any parts or provide any labour.
Q: Why am i banned from your Facebook page?
A: Because you have been laughing at our posts and commenting negatively trying to promote other tuners, and now inevitably after them tuners have broken your vehicle your looking for us to fix it like nothing happened. We do not tolerate this type of behaviour.
Q: It says your open until 4pm, can i book in for 4pm?
A: No, we are closing at 4pm, that means we are no longer working past this time, so if you turn up at 4pm there will be no time to do your vehicle. The last vehicle we book in is 2-3PM depending on the vehicle as to time frame to get it done before we close.
Q: You said my ECU is locked and can not be done, can't you just unlock it for me?
A: No, if we could unlock it then we would just do that and not even mention the fact that its locked. If an ECU is locked it can not be done by anyone as there is no way of yet communication with that ECU.
Q: Why won't you tune my hybrid /Reconditioned / bigger turbo?
A: 99.9% of hybrid & reconditioned turbo's are an absolute load of scrap, nobody in the UK or Europe can successfully build a reconditioned or hybrid turbo that actually works. All your going to do is waste hours of our time with a turbo that is built incorrectly then blame us like everyone has done. We are not interested in tuning these type of poor quality vehicles.
Q: I don't have £50 in my bank to send you a deposit can you just book me in/hold my place i promise i will come?
A: No, not one custom has ever turned up in the last 14 years when a deposit has not been left. We know full well you are not going to turn up and due to the amount of people that have wasted our time we will not book or hold any space until the deposit is paid.
Q: Is it safe for my vehicle?
A: Safety of the vehicle all depends on the condition of vehicle you provide us with, 100% of customers that ask this question know full well they have a scrap vehicle not worth tuning and are trying to fool any tuner into promising some false warranty on a vehicle they already know has mechanical issues. We can confidently say this from 14 years experience of dealing with this enquiry.
Q: I have text you, WHY have You not replied?
A: As stated all over our website anywhere that our number is present, it clearly states that the number only receives phone calls and does not receive text messages. You will instead have an automated text reply requesting you call us for all enquires during the opening hours.
Q: What if i turn up late?
A: Depending on how late you turn up, how the rest of our bookings look we will judge whether we are able to proceed in tuning your vehicle on the day. If you miss your booking slot or turn up that late that we can not proceed with tuning your vehicle then your deposit will be lost as you have lost us hundreds in earnings. The same as you can not turn up late for an appointment anywhere, our premises is no different.
DON'T DO THE FOLLOWING :
- Do not park in front of our shutters blocking us from driving any vehicles in or out of our premises, your appointment will be cancelled and asked to leave.
- Do not sit in the carpark doing your horn trying to get our attention, your appointment will be cancelled and asked to leave.
- Do not sit in the carpark past your appointment slot, come in 20 minutes late, then claim you was here on time, we are not going to carry you out of your vehicle. If you have arrived come inside the waiting room.
- Do not call from your cars handsfree devices 90% of phone calls are terminated as we can not hear a word you are saying until you put the phone to your mouth off handsfree.
- Do not turn up at the workshop without an appointment, we are appointment based only, we run a very busy workshop on a tight schedule, we can not physically do the work and stand around to chat to walk in custom. All enquires are online only, anyone who ignores this will not be seen to.
- Do not come in to tell us your here with your vehicle but then leave your family, friends and pets in the vehicle so we have to ask them to get out.
- Do not vape inside the waiting room it is rude to customer who do not smoke or have health conditions.
- Do not bring a vehicle with the engine light on if you are not coming for delete software, That means your vehicle is broken and unworthy of tuning and will be charged the hourly rate of £120 for wasting the booking slot.
- Do not leave your rubbish in the waiting room, make a mess, damage or steal. The full unit has CCTV and you can expect a bill being sent to address for any damages you have caused.
- Do not send voice notes on Facebook/Instagram it is a business account we can not hear your voice notes.
- If you can not accept no for an answer do not enquire with us we do not have time for grown adults acting like a 5 year old child when they are told no because there vehicle is a scrapyard build that we do not want to touch.
- Do not turn up for your appointment then want to discuss whether or not you should have your vehicle tuned, you are wasting our time you had all the opportunity to discuss your options prior to coming to us and will be charged an hours labour at £120 for wasting our time if you then choose that you do not want your vehicle tuning. We do not go to work for free the same as you don't go to your jobs for free.
These are not written to be funny the unfortunate fact is that this is how 90% of customer behave when they visit us.

- All PD140 Engines
- All MPS Models
- All 20VT Engines
- Vauxhall/Saab Z19DT Engines
- ST250 Ecoboost
- All Subaru's
- All Evo's
- Anything with a reconditioned, hybrid or bigger turbo
Any enquire for the above vehicles will be ignored, we do not have time for the owners of these vehicles to constantly ask "why" and claim what other tuners can tune them yet they are not going there and asking us to do it. Everyone is told to read these FAQ's before enquiry if you are incapable of doing so we will not answer to tuning the above.
VEHICLES THAT ARE UNABLE TO BE TunED DUE TO CURRENTLY LOCKED ECU:
- All BMW/Mini 2021 Onwards
- All Volvo's 2019 Onwards
Please do not contact us regarding these vehicles past them manufactured dates you will receive no response as these are locked and unable to have any work at all done. Solutions are currently being developed to bypass these locked ECU's but until you see them leave this list nobody in the world can tune your vehicle. Any enquiries for vehicles we do not cover will be ignored.
